Your Role & Impact

The Chief Administrative Officer is responsible for the Financial, Human Resources and Administrative direction of the business, including all aspects of accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, human resource operations, facilities and internal controls. This role is a key member of the senior executive team and reports directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • With the CEO, plan, develop and implement the long and short-term financial strategy
  • Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of new programs/strategies and regulatory action
  • Continually improve the budgeting and forecasting process through education of leadership on financial issues impacting department budgets
  • Develop, implement and relentlessly improve policies and procedures by way of operational systems that continually build health in the business
  • Develop human resource plans and strategies, including building out HR systems, to support the achievement of the overall business objectives
  • Design, implement and maintain a performance evaluation system; provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance effectiveness and advance skills
  • Provide a strong financial perspective on any contracts and commitments made by the company
  • Oversee facilities planning, maintenance and custodial operations including service contracts
  • Ensure legal, tax and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions
  • Lead, coach, and retain a high caliber finance, human resources and administrative team, consistent with company values

Qualifications

  • 20+ years of related experience in a fast paced growth environment; technology or healthcare industry experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in accounting, business management, finance or other relevant field
  • Passion for driving sound business decisions, process and procedures in a nationwide business
  • Ability to excel even when surrounded by ambiguity and changing business requirements
  • Passion to learn and grow within a business that has complex corporate and regulatory needs
  • Must possess high levels of intellect, drive and energy
  • Must be self‐confident, team‐oriented and work with the highest values and integrity
