About the Role:

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Alliance Officer leads and executes our partner strategy globally and across all partners – platform players, business application vendors, system integrators, consulting houses and data aggregators. This is a next phase builder opportunity for someone excited to build a strategic partner ecosystem which can help Icertis achieve its mission to become the Contract Intelligence Platform of the World and transform the foundation of commerce.

Contract Lifecycle Management is a rapidly growing $20B TAM category, which is in the midst of a transformation. CLM is becoming a strategic asset, which not only helps enterprises improve contracting operational efficiency, but as a system of engagement, drives the business forward so that the intent of every contract is fully realized.

What you will do:

Partners are strategically critical to the success of Icertis. Partners help us drive market development, revenue, implementations, customer satisfaction, and scale. We help our partners build new capabilities, grow their revenues in a category which is new, large, fast growing, and together we deliver value to our joint customers in ways they never imagined.

Your role is to evangelize the opportunity, select the right partners, help them build their sales and technical capabilities, align our joint go-to-market, and win together win big in the market. More than 75% of Icertis revenues will eventually flow through, or will be influenced by partners, in the next 5 years. Your contribution will be key to the success of the company from now to IPO and years beyond.

 

What you will bring:

This leader will have a high growth mindset driven through continuous execution of a strategic framework and possess 15+ years of sales, business development, and strategic partnerships within the technology industry, preferably in Enterprise SaaS. The leader is also expected to have 10 years of experience with a proven track record as a senior Sales Executive within the Enterprise Software/SaaS Landscape orchestrating partner alliances at the C-Level.

Critical skills for success include a keen sense of ownership, drive, and grit while executing with executive presence, strategic purpose and a deep sense of urgency. Fairness, Openness, Respect, Teamwork, and Execution are foundational values for success.

  • Experienced builder of inspired teams that drive demonstrable growth in complex business environments through a focus on developing and communicating the plan, addressing issues that hinder performance, and implementing best practice.
  • Talented communicator able to foster strong relationships, inspire others, and effectively negotiate high stakes scenarios.
  • Intimate understanding of partner business models and priorities.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, self-starter, who understands the psychology of partner sales & the sales process. Capable of handling tactical items while never losing sight of longer-term strategic goals.
  • Data driven decision maker adept at modeling financial justification of investments, deal and post deal metrics.
  • Self-motivated to drive excellence with high integrity
  • MBA, Masters or equivalent executive level experience
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%, post pandemic
