Smartsheet is looking for an energetic, forward-thinking, creative, and detailed-oriented marketer to join our Corporate Events Team. The right candidate will take on a key role at one of the world’s leading SaaS/cloud companies by planning and delivering world-class, engaging, in-person event experiences for Smartsheet customers, partners, prospects, staff, and industry influencers.

The Corporate Events Manager will own Smartsheet’s customer connection event programs, including the CAB/Customer Advisory Board, PAC/Product Advisory Council, and User Groups in the US and EMEA, as well as drive core team planning and execution for the annual Smartsheet ENGAGE customer conference. The goals of the position are to drive brand awareness and influence, ultimately supporting revenue growth with existing and prospective customers.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Events, the Corporate Events Manager will work closely with all parts of the Smartsheet organization and will play a key role within the marketing team. This is a perfect role for someone who wants to make their mark on a fast-growing, industry-leading technology company.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage the planning, execution and post-event follow up across Smartsheet’s corporate events programs.

Work with cross-functional business stakeholders on the development of event program goals, managing key deliverables and communications.Support the broader Corporate Marketing and Communications team on special projects.Create, track and manage event budgets to-plan,,producing pre and post-event budgeting reports.

Identify opportunities for process and event management improvements and put those ideas into action.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a minimum of five years experience in event planning in the technology industry.

Can manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with multiple stakeholders across the business.

Experience using Smartsheet to plan, track and automate work, including creation of Sheets, Forms, Dashboards and Portals.

Travel, as required.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Communications, Marketing.

Demonstrated ability to have fun :)
