We're looking for a well-rounded IT Systems Administrator. You'll be responsible for our corporate infrastructure: you'll keep our internal systems running smoothly, provide a second tier of technical support within the company, and solve issues with a variety of technologies from Active Directory to WiFi.

We want someone with breadth rather than depth. Do you have strong communication skills? Are you a self-starter who can deftly juggle many priorities? Then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You do not need years of experience with specific technologies to be successful, only the ability to learn them quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the IT services used by LiquidPlanner. This includes Windows servers, pfSense firewalls, Meraki APs, as well as variety of third-party services (G Suite, Office 365, RingCentral, etc).
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with the variety of technical systems used by employees and powering our office space: macOS and Windows laptops, videoconferencing, phones, and network.
  • Communicate with third-party vendors, managing relationships and troubleshooting high-level issues.
  • Monitor and respond to incidents in our corporate IT infrastructure.
  • Provide exceptional IT support across the company, ensuring people have what they need to be productive and happy.
  • Document IT processes to ensure repeatability.

You are

  • An analytic problem solver looking for pragmatic solutions
  • A collaborative and empathetic team member
  • Always learning, and excited to share that knowledge
  • Committed to efficiently producing high-quality results

You have

  • Strong investigative and trouble-shooting skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
  • Capacity to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities quickly and effectively
  • Desire to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Windows system administration
  • 3+ years experience in an IT role
  • Extra points if you have familiarity with security and compliance

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Company equity
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage
  • 401(k) plan
  • Four weeks paid time off annually
  • Paid parental leave
  • Flexible schedule
  • Free snacks
  • Casual, fun work environment
