Center’s Strategy & Corporate Development team is a small and specialized team that drives company-wide corporate initiatives, growth strategies/strategic planning, ecosystem development, and operational improvements. Center’s Strategy & Corporate Development team plays an integral role in researching, defining, and executing Center’s inorganic growth plans, investment theses, and strategic partnerships.
Reporting to the SVP, Corporate Strategy & Business Development, the Strategy & Corporate Development Manager will serve as a key collaborator and contributor to Center’s strategic roadmap to ensure that Center meets its long-term growth. The Strategy & Corporate Development Manager will lead and support projects across a wide array of corporate strategic initiatives touching on core, adjacent and new market sectors. They should be an organized self-starter who is able to think critically with exceptional project management skills and strong financial acumen.
Responsibilities
- Researches and provides an analysis of competitors, partners, business models, core and adjacent markets, market sizing, and industry trends.
- Conducts market landscape analyses and reviews of companies within the Spend Management, Banking and Financial Technology and Travel Technology sectors.
- Investigates and provides analysis of the merger and acquisition (M&A), venture funding, and public market environment and trends.
- Synthesizes findings into insights within a project, including implications that inform business decisions; leverages insights to support strategic recommendations for Center.
- Produces high-quality executive communications and arguments to facilitate senior discussions and decision making and prepares presentations which will be reviewed with our executives and board of directors on a regular basis.
- Performs extensive financial modeling, valuation, and business case analyses.
- Drives key initiatives by serving as the representative team member for a variety of ad-hoc, company-wide strategic projects.
- Supports the end-to-end transaction process from idea to business case to deal execution and integration.
Basic Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree from a top-rated university.
- 2-4 years in corporate development, investment banking (corporate finance, M&A, or equity research), management consulting, or similar level of experience and skills; experience with the technology sector / SaaS.
- Strong financial acumen and financial modeling skills are a must.
- Excellent writing, presentation, problem solving and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and highly accountable with demonstrated ability to follow through.
- Exceptional project management skills in the face of highly complex transactions with multiple constituents and stakeholders.

The Manager, Strategy & Corporate Development pay transparency TTP range is $121k-$143k annually and the equity value of option grants is $80k-$120k. In addition, Center offers a Self-Managed PTO plan, 8 Paid Holiday’s, Paid Parental Leave, Commuter Stipend, and health care benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability, Base Life, AD&D, FSA, Commuter and 401(k).
