This role focuses on protecting the Expedia Group Brand and is an integral part of the global security team that is responsible for securing Expedia’s transactional platform that supports $99 billion worth of travel bookings a year!

Who you are

• You engage and collaborate with application and information systems teams to accept and participate in security architecture and operations
• You are data driven, able to analyze data needed to effectively measure progress against the execution of objectives
• You can convey technical information in an understandable way that generates results
• You are a troubleshooter who proactively removes roadblocks and pursues solutions to problems that stand in the way of vulnerability reduction
• You jump at the opportunity to apply your SQL, python and java skills to automate tasks

What you will do

• Support of Security Campaigns: Urgent and Non-Urgent which result in measurable vulnerability reduction
• Contribute to the development and rollout of programs that increase the adoption of security policies and practices
• Drive EG wide adoption of vulnerability management practices that support Security by Default
• Manage the VM Operations Non-Urgent remediation queue
