Your day-to-day

• Ensure a top-notch consumer and agent experience when issuing and insuring Title.
• Oversee and manage all internal and external stakeholders to successfully search and examine Title, communicate ‘red flags’ in an accessible way, and call the shots on issuing Title insurance policies. If you have experience managing offshore search and abstraction teams, even better!
• Effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that we insure Title on-time and to the best of our abilities.
• Follow, and recommend improvements on, company-established procedures and relevant compliance measures at the State and Federal levels while searching, abstracting, and issuing Title insurance policies.

What you bring

• Extensive knowledge of standard operating procedures and compliance laws related to Title Insurance and the real estate settlement process in the State of Washington.
• An extreme thoroughness and attention to detail: you dig in to get to the bottom of any questionable situations, mitigate risk, and insure Title is issued only after any questions are resolved.
• A flexible, can-do attitude: you can and will pivot to meet business priorities; you will experiment with new methods of getting stuff done; and you will help us refine our recipe for success with new ideas.
• A builder mentality: you are excited to play a role in building and growing of a brand-new company
• At least 10 years of Title experience in the greater Seattle metro region (combination of Title Examiner and Title Officer roles)
• At least a high school diploma or equivalent
