About the Job:

Are you a Senior Leader looking to build and grow an operations function within a fast-paced start-up? This role requires a high degree of skills, guts and leadership. As the leader of Operations, you will be responsible for keeping all existing businesses running, scaling functions across cities and partnerships, while at the same time helping to grow new businesses – all while ensuring an amazing client experience. We're looking for someone who has a special mix of operational abilities to get stuff done, the grit and motivation that's needed to solve problems and the emotional intelligence and leadership abilities to build-out, run and grow a best-in-class Operations team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and retain a world class operations organization and build from 40 to 400
  • Work closely with the leadership team / CEO to build and implement operational processes / policies and implement on a national scale
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across all teams at the company
  • Act as a champion for our clients with a relentless focus on raising the bar on our customer experience
  • Own the strategy and execution of Flyhomes Crew, our in-house repair and renovation business

Job requirements:

  • 7+ years of deep, hands-on, operations experience (startup experience is a plus)
  • Customer-centric: you care deeply about our customers and the experience of all buyers and sellers
  • Experience leading teams across with people across levels
  • Passion for quality control and process definition
  • Deep understanding of metrics, reporting and analytics
  • Unparalleled business judgement and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly establish priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them
  • Executive presence that instills confidence in leadership and the team
  • Exceptional people and communication skills
  • Love for working in a fast-paced environment
