Director of Product Management, Post-Booking Skills

Expedia Group is building the world’s Travel Platform, and as a part of this, we are creating a Virtual Agent Platform that automates the most challenging travel journeys and scales to serve both customers and suppliers.

Our Virtual Agents use AI to learn new capabilities and continuously improve through network effects. We are looking for a you to be a data-driven, customer-centric, human-centered design and creative product builder and leader with an extraordinary ability to recruit, inspire, motivate and lead world-class product teams.

What you will do

  • You will be adept at developing, motivating and growing results-oriented teams, effectively balancing strategic oversight and hands-on execution
  • You will empower teams to lead and grow while operating with a significant degree of autonomy and approaching every situation through the lens of our customers
  • You will display to the team, how to balance the requirement to execute quickly and the need to scale at the right time, creating new experiences and being open to learning and applying newly acquired knowledge
  • You will foster healthy discourse and be an expert communicator
  • Possessing the gravitas to be part of the leadership team, you will also demonstrate the ability to roll up your sleeves and support execution as needed
  • You have experience successfully operating and thriving in complex, fast-paced environments and will utilize your forward thinking and bar raiser ability to challenge the status quo
  • You will act as an entrepreneurial leader who can quickly comprehend new concepts and ideas with a bias toward action and results

  • You encompass a global perspective, preferably including direct experience in both US and international markets
  • You highlight a demonstrated ability to deliver a product that delights end-users at worldwide scale within a time- constrained environment
  • You can speak to your success in terms of innovation, creativity and “big thinking”
  • You understand agile development processes, cloud, voice experiences, machine learning, mobile applications, and consumer facing product delivery/scaling mechanisms
  • You are passionate about building and developing high-performing talent
  • You can demonstrate your success leading a collaborative, matrixed, geographically distributed technology development and operations organization
  • You have 5+ years of product management and leadership experience
  • You retain a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related major is desired
