Product Manager-
Duration: 14 month contract
Location: Calgary, Seattle
Open to remote in PST - CMT time zones
Start: ASAP
Due to the current conditions and impact of Covid-19, this key position will initially work from home, until such a time we open our offices. At the time of the local office opening, employees and managers will partner to determine the work site location in line with our Flexible working policy.

Your Next Challenge
- As a Product Manager you will be part of a team responsible for improving the overall experiences of our main web sites – with emphasis on iStock.
- You will identify customer problems and work closely with Product Design/Research (including the VP of Product Design and the Chief Product Officer), analytics, product management, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that solve those problems and measurably impact our customers in positive ways.
- Your success will be based on reducing friction on behalf of our customers, improving usability, brand affinity and CSAT, and evangelizing and operationalizing a data-driven view of our customers and their needs.
What You'll Need
- Develop an understanding of Getty Images and iStock; it’s customers, business, and experiences
- Leverage your understanding of our customers and business to create a customer-driven roadmap for your remit
- Turn plans into reality by working closely with Design, Engineering, Research and Business Stakeholders to iteratively deliver features and experiences the solve the identified problems.
- Demonstrate qualitative and qualitative insights from iterations and product and feature launches to inform the direction of your roadmap
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 3+ years relevant experience in Product Management, or equivalent experience in related roles
- Specific experience with B2B e-commerce products and sites
- Consistent record of working successfully with Product Design/UX teams
- Bachelor’s Degree
- High level of maturity
- Experience with Agile development
- Natural leader and collaborator
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to balance long-term and short-term goals, customer and business needs
- Some knowledge and experience of SEO would be considered an asset
Mental and Physical Demands:
Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
Occasionally moving objects up to 20 lbs and frequently moving objects up to 10 lbs.
Frequent sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing; Time of each will vary.
Constant operation of computer and frequent usage of other office machinery, including (but not limited to) calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
Constant assessment of accuracy and thoroughness of the work assignment.
