The Role

As the Manager of Services Partnerships at Outreach, you will be accountable for designing and deploying scalable service capabilities through a partner eco-system that delivers a world-class implementation support and consulting expertise to our customers while also driving competitiveness and cost efficiency.

We are technical specialists who consult new customers through their integration and expertly configure Outreach to their desired workflows. CEMs are expected to onboard new customers to optimize their sales strategy to take advantage of best practices. Our goal is to supercharge the stakeholders we work with and help them navigate a change management process with excellence. We're one of the fastest growing teams at Outreach and we work to connect cross-functional stakeholders from product, support, and even engineering with customers to remove any blockers in the onboarding process. The ownership is tangible on this team - our customers' projects are our projects and we drive to get them ROI as quickly as possible.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Manage and expand the existing implementation partner ecosystem at Outreach. Serve as the Practice Manager with accountability for the success of partner led engagements
  • Build the requirements and deploy capabilities for future partner selection which may include expansions into new markets
  • In partnership with the Outreach Enablement team, oversee new partner onboarding and certification
  • Ensure partner consultants meet minimum PS KPIs; Coach and score all partners within the program as to how effectively implement our customers
  • Serve as the escalation point for any partner related projects; Ability to jump in and de-escalate situations in where a customers needs are not being met by a services partner
  • Maintain management relationships with practice peers at partner firms
  • Own contracting updates and initial invoice approvals; maintain oversight of partner budget adherence and forecasting
  • Understanding the Enterprise and Small and Medium business customers’ needs and creating the programs and value-added solutions using the authorized partner eco-system capabilities
  • Align with Outreach PS Practice & Education Leaders on a daily basis regarding overall management of the services business including resourcing, project profitability, content, and overall project execution
  • Play a key role in influencing long-term services strategy & underlying tactics to support scale
  • Partner with Business Development, Alliances, Customer Success and other teams to ensure partner roadmap alignment; Influence and coordinate with multiple stakeholder teams within Outreach regarding partner programs
  • Identify new opportunities to elaborate on the partner program scope; build new offers with delivery to market

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience leading a partner practice
  • 3+ years experience in Professional Services including project management, technology implementations, training, change management, and strategic planning
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally
  • Experience with sourcing, selecting, onboarding and managing services delivery partners
  • Global implementation experience
  • Strong analytical abilities including cost analysis and scenario modeling
  • Proven internal project management abilities 
  • Solid organization, influence, leadership, team-building and negotiation capabilities
  • Proven experience developing and managing long tail, complex, cross departmental programs
  • Proven ability to communicate project progress, risk and success to ensure ongoing commitment and momentum
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely - both orally and in written form, and create/deliver executive level presentations
  • The ability to think strategically and solve unstructured business problems
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively in a highly collaborative, team environment character that exemplifies Microsoft values including integrity, honesty, openness, personal excellence, constructive self-criticism, continual self-improvement, and mutual respect
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) is required. Advanced degree in related field is a plus.
  • Experience in the Outreach platform preferred
  • Experience with SFDC, Financial Force, SmartSheets & Tableau preferred
