Ekata provides global identity verification via enterprise-grade APIs and a SaaS solution. The Solutions Architect Manager will manage a team of solutions architects, and perform some individual contributor work alongside them. This includes assisting sales and account management in understanding customer’s business needs, and positioning Ekata products against them. You will also be planning and executing data evaluations to ensure prospects see the maximum value from Ekata products, and assisting with integration and onboarding to ensure that value is realized.

As a Solutions Architect Manager, you will:

• Hold weekly 1on1 meetings and quarterly performance reviews with direct reports.
• Regularly meet with product and marketing teams to share product feedback and material for case studies.
• Identify gaps in team knowledge and initiate training plans to resolve.
• Assist with hiring and training for other Ekata teams.
• Engage with customers alongside Ekata sales and account management, over phone calls, screen-shares, or in-person meetings.
• Acquire deep knowledge of Ekata products and data, and use that knowledge to act as subject matter expert for customers.
• Understand customer business needs and workflows, and use that knowledge to position Ekata products and design solutions using them.
• Plan and run data tests that prove the value of Ekata data.
• Work with customer IT and engineering resources to QA their integration of Ekata APIs.
• Perform thought leadership work such as writing articles and speaking at events.
• Attend product spec reviews to bring SA perspective and share feedback.
• Provide mentorship to lower-tier architects and new hires.

Our ideal Solutions Architect Manager will have:

• Computer Science or Engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in analytics capacity.
• 5+ years’ experience in a customer-facing role, such as sales, account management, or consulting.
• 2+ years’ experience in a management or team lead role.
• 2+ years' experience in understanding customer needs and using those to build design docs or technical specifications.
• Proven ability to establish credibility with technical leaders in customer organizations.
• Excellent scripting and analysis skills in python.
