Hearsay Systems is looking for a Solutions Consultant to join our pre-sales team!

In this role, you'll enable the go-to-market team to navigate deep product and technical conversations winningly and easily; consult, develop, and present custom solution presentations mapped to strategic customer challenges; and function as a key liaison between go-to-market, product, and product marketing on our platform and services.

This is not a sales role, but is an integral part of the pre-sales team that partners with the Account Executives (and many others!).

What you will accomplish:

  • Perform great insight driven discovery
  • Drive the sales cycle to close by delivering compelling technical presentations
  • Design and run executive workshops to drive technical selection and win
  • Own the pre- to post- sales transition for implementation success
  • Own technical executive relationships to influence early design decisions
  • Serve as the end-to-end business application expert and technical liaison between the customer, the Account Executive, and Product Management
  • Complete security reviews and manage RFP’s to completion
  • Stay knowledgeable about competitor’s products to continuously refine how to best position our key differentiators
  • Work closely with value consulting to implement business cases into presentations and demo assets
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to refine product training business application knowledge for Go To Market teams.
  • In the context of Hearsay products and the client's technological infrastructure, consult on Enterprise Mobility Management / Mobile Device Management

About you:

  • Significant experience with Enterprise Mobility Management / Mobile Device Management is key to this role, along with...
  • Great work ethic and sense of ownership
  • 5+ years experience in technology industry, FinTech preferred
  • 3 - 5 years in comparable Solutions Consulting / Pre-Sales Engineer role
  • Comfortable with 50% travel across assigned region and valid passport
  • Strong grasp of SaaS concepts and application integration
  • Skilled in managing expectations with challenging audiences
  • Ability to surface risk and reduce sales cycle with technical solutioning
  • Has executive presence and knows how to own the stage
  • Talent in value selling, and solutioning for business outcomes
  • Expertise with Identity Management Systems such as Microsoft ADFS, user provisioning concepts and mobile application deployment
  • Resolved issues around SDKs vs AppConfig policies
  • Understanding of relational databases at a simple level (tables, queries, data types, indices)
  • Functional experience with REST APIs
  • Configuration experience with Enterprise CRM deployments: Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or another CRM systems
  • Experience with cloud based SaaS platforms and AWS
  • Experience with sales enablement for technical sales teams
  • Ability to partner with other Go To Market teams from value consulting, to product marketing
  • Great presentation skills: you should be adept in both small and larger audiences
  • Proven ability to mentor, train and convert audiences into advocates
