Technical Program Manager, Security Governance

You love managing a program that delights customers. You have a passion for information security. As a key member of our security team, your mission will be keeping our most critical assets secure and helping to make sure our customers maintain their trust in OpenMarket. What you'll be doing

  • Managing the policies, standards, procedures, and other critical artifacts that govern our security program and support our certification/compliance.
  • Coordinating the portfolio of projects that make up our security transformation and continuous improvement, as well as running the budget, procurement, and planning for the security team.
  • Developing metrics and reporting to drive better management of the security program and better transparency to senior management.
  • Managing the key internal interfaces for the team (Wiki, Jira, GRC tool).
  • Partnering with engineering and operations teams to better integrate security into the development life-cycle.
  • Working with our commercial teams to provide feedback on information security and privacy questionnaires from customers or potential customers.
  • Creating a lasting impact on how we run our security program and how we run our business!

What to bring

  • 5+ years of information security working experience.
  • Experience running an enterprise-level security governance program.
  • Detailed knowledge of security governance aspects, including security policy frameworks, and experience working with GRC platforms.
  • Experience working in an Agile development organization.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • An aptitude for learning and the capability of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ISO 27001 certification programs a plus.
  • Knowledge of mobile messaging a plus

Education/Training:

Bachelors degree in MIS or equivalent experience

This position is open in Seattle, WA and Guadalajara, Mexico.

Our company is in the Lower Queen Anne area with a beautiful view of Elliott Bay. The office is a short distance to a variety of restaurants/shops.
