Information Security Risk Program Manager

Do you love managing a program that delights customers? Do you have a passion for information security and risk management? You are a guru in assessing and analyzing internal and third-party information security risks. You want to build on your experience working in cloud and agile environments. You thrive in working collaboratively, operating internationally, and making a direct impact on the business. Want to put all of that to use in a fun and exciting environment? As a key member of our security team, you will be managing the delivery and execution of the information security risk program in an agile environment. You will have a terrific opportunity to take our risk management program to the next level. 

What you'll be doing

  • There are two types of Program Managers in this world: a scorekeeper and a quarterback. We are looking for a quarterback, a driver
  • Continually improving our security risk management methodology
  • Analyzing and documenting security risks
  • Designing and maintaining risk registers, security questionnaires, and surveys to aid in the collection and assessment of security risks
  • Developing risk mitigation plans and schedules to meet business objectives
  • Working with individuals and group managers to report and manage security risks
  • Participating with your peers to ensure successful execution of our information security strategy and our audit and compliance program
  • Continuously working with project teams to identify and evaluate risks and assess potential impacts on project delivery
  • Creating appropriate risk metrics and leading indicators to identify areas of focus and improvement around risk
  • Providing leadership to foster a strong culture of technology risk management throughout the company

What to bring

  • Broad knowledge in analyzing and applying information security and privacy practices or policies
  • Experience in implementing one or more standard risk management frameworks
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and in managing risks through their full lifecycle
  • Strong problem-solving skills--creative and analytical with skills in lateral thinking and logical reasoning
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to tailor communications to the appropriate audience. Wonderfully succinct
  • A collaborative working style--work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of mobile messaging or high availability, a plus

Our company is in the Lower Queen Anne area with a beautiful view of Elliott Bay. The office is a short distance to a variety of restaurants/shops.
