An Insider's view of OpenMarket

How does your team reward individual success?

OpenMarket rewards individuals for success in many ways but one of the most fun ones is the "Kudos Shout-outs". An employee can give a "kudos" to another employee who did something especially great, then these kudos are read out loud at the monthly social hour and entered into a raffle for fun prizes!

Jen

Principal Software Development Engineer

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

Being in Talent Acquisition provides me the unique opportunity to work with each of the teams. Whether it be identifying new talent to join the organization, working on strategic initiatives, or planning ways for our team members to celebrate our successes, at OpenMarket you have a seat at the table and an opportunity to see your come to life.

Cherika

Director of Global Talent Acquisition

What are some things you learned at the company?

Without a background in the mobile messaging industry, I’ve learned a lot about what OpenMarket brings to the table as a leader in the ecosystem. Additionally, OpenMarket has contributed to my career development by providing me the opportunity to lead critical initiatives to help our sales team perform at their best.

Neema

Global Sales Operations Lead

What unique initiatives do you have that encourage innovation?

One of the best parts of OpenMarket is that we are small enough to allow teams to drive change and make a difference. Within the finance team, we typically have a handful of cross functional initiatives going at any given time. Overall we are constantly looking to innovate how we work and what we deliver as an organization.

Anthony

Director of Finance

What’s the vibe like in the office?

OpenMarket is flexible about working remotely but I like coming into the office anyway! It's nice having teammates nearby to help if you get stuck, and there's always a quiet corner if you need to focus. It's a really welcoming environment outside of work too - you can always find people chatting in the kitchen, playing ping pong, or getting lunch.

Jessica

Software Development Engineer
