Job Description

As a Business Development Representative, you are responsible for generating qualified leads for the inside and field sales teams. This will include prospect research, with marketing support. You will have significant prospect interaction and help assess if the client is a good target for either inside or field sales. The Business Development Representative will be part of a seasoned, senior and dynamic sales, team which offers insight into the sales cycle, forecasting tools and sales methodologies - it’s a great way to further your sales career. Infobip's business is focused on expansion as COVID-19 has increased the demand for our services. We are looking for a “go-getter” mindset to accelerate our growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Connect with prospects, generating leads for the inside and field sales teams.
  • Build new business and pipeline through online research and market intelligence gathered from regular prospect and customer interaction.
  • Validate business cases in CRM.
  • Conduct sales development best practices with sales engagement software, email, cold calls, video calls, and social drips using enablement technology to connect with new prospects.
  • Qualify opportunities by setting up meetings or calls between prospects and the Inside Sales Representatives/Account Executives/Key Account Executives
  • Align efforts with marketing to build the value proposition to increase relevance to prospects. Ensure a feedback loop on what works. Help identify typical door opener contacts in collaboration with marketing to scale the business.
  • Achieve KPIs to build a sustainable pipeline and focus on quality vs quantity of leads.


Qualifications

What to Bring

  • 3+ years sales or related market/business experience.
  • Experience in software/SaaS, Sales, OR other enterprise messaging.
  • Experience with CRM systems and managing a pipeline.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Outreach and ZoomInfo.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
  • Strong interpersonal and ability to connect with clients and vendors in a professional manner.
  • An aptitude and enthusiasm to learn about the mobile / telco industry; open to coaching.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Prior telecom sales or call center experience a plus.
  • Experience in goal-orientated sales environment.
  • Fearless, determined, handles rejection well.
  • Understanding of the Application-to-Person (A2P) mobile messaging space.

Our company is in the Lower Queen Anne area with a beautiful view of Elliott Bay. The office is a short distance to a variety of restaurants/shops.
