About the Position:

Qumulo is looking for a results-oriented, adaptable and innovative Inside Territory Account Manager to strategically uncover new business opportunities within a group of assigned territories.  

In this role, you will build the territories’ opportunity pipeline and search for ways to strategically grow sales, by developing realistic action plans while partaking in innovative approaches and ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the Qumulo sales process with a strong understanding of Qumulo’s unique value proposition
  • Identify ideal customer verticals, accounts and contacts in order to start the sales process
  • Present and sell Qumulo products and services to current and potential customers through high volumes of phone calls and web based presentations
  • Follow up on leads and referrals resulting from Channel Partners and individual prospecting
  • Maintain accurate account information and activity detail in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts.
  • Plan and organize a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales targets.
  • Develop and present business case to customers, demonstrating Qumulo’s value and ability to meet customer business objectives.
  • Monitor competition and gather current marketplace information. (Including but not limited to pricing, products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.)
  • Act as a beacon for industry standards, researching and reporting changes in products, service, and policy, and evaluating results.
  • Champion the needs of the customers through investigating problems and developing solutions.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through independent research, attending workshops, and cultivating networks.
  • Collect and maintain data to guide and inform future sales and business decisions

Requirements

  • BSc/BA in Business, Marketing or relevant experience
  • Technology industry experience
  • Proficiency in Google’s Suite of products
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute effectively in a fast-paced, self-directed and  team-oriented environment
  • Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills
  • Innate drive and motivation to exceed expectations
