Your role and impact

 

We are looking for a self-starter who will not only produce responses that win business, but also expand the success of our team with market intelligence and project management skills. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing and presenting market intelligence to internal stakeholders and managing and producing clear and effective customized responses to formal proposals through consistent management of our RFP database.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead our RFI/RFP end-to-end process, from evaluating the request to managing and driving the cross-functional response within customer-defined deadlines
  • Formulate proposals based on the strategy and needs of the submitting enterprise while following company brand, style and writing guidelines
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts across the organization to obtain and provide appropriate content for RFPs and various prospect inquiries
  • Coach subject-matter experts and executives in persuasive writing and proposal best practices to produce winning content
  • Organize and maintain the RFPio database with product details, content and other information necessary for the timely, accurate and compelling completion of a response to an RFP
  • Gather market intelligence to help close deals, research our competition and build an understanding of the current landscape of our clients 
  • Act as a liaison with relevant internal groups including contracts, security, product and marketing to build consensus around approaches and align perspectives based on the market intelligence gathered
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to build for scale
  • Adapt to new opportunities and lead projects as business priorities shift and expand 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years relevant experience in marketing, proposal and/or RFP writing
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and driving alignment with executive-level management
  • Outstanding and proven skills in decision-making, critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively
  • Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • APMP certification preferred
  • Experience using RFPio or similar proposal management software 
  • Previous project management experience
