The Role

Outreach is a leader in sales engagement software and one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the country. As a leader in the industry, we expect the Sales Operations Specialist to work alongside the Revenue Operations team to set our salespeople up for success. The Sales Operations Specialist optimizes the effectiveness of the sales team by engaging in activities that support our sales processes and strategies. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner and passionately understands SaaS sales motions, CRM systems, and has a genuine interest in supporting a growing sales organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, finds excitement in creative and scalable problem solving, and has a bias for action and outcomes.

This position is based in Seattle and reports into the Revenue Operations team. The RevOps team is focused on supporting and scaling Outreach’s full revenue funnel with scalable processes, role-based enablement, the right toolset and by providing relevant business insights. 

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide front-line support for sales related questions and inquiries
  • Drive towards simple, scalable process-solutions to day-to-day problems
  • Develop close relationships with sales and other stakeholders to identify and address gaps in existing processes
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure data accuracy in salesforce.com CRM and Outreach.
  • Assist with sales quotes to ensure accurate tracking of order information including contract language and product line items
  • Produce ad hoc reports and dashboards and deliver actionable data at both the sales management and rep level; accelerate information-to-action at scale
  • Design and implement new programs to increase efficiency of current processes and systems
  • Drive process improvement, adoption, and effectiveness at every level of our sales process

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years in a Business/Sales/Success Operations or similar role
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Solid understanding of the tech industry and the SaaS world
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of sales and customer success disciplines
  • Solid functional understanding of salesforce.com CRM; strong experience with creating and maintaining reports and dashboards; SFDC certification preferred.
  • Excellent analytical thinking skills; able to breakdown ambiguous problems into concrete, manageable components and think through optimal solutions
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills, and highly organized; project or program management experience is a plus
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills; ability to escalate problems and roadblocks as needed
  • Commitment to see things through toward actionable outcomes and results
  • Flexible team player, with a bias for action
  • Ability to balance sharp focus on measurable outcomes with deep and genuine empathy for people, customers, and the business
  • High-energy with a sense of humor, ability to work with a wide range of personalities
  • This is a hands-on position; the ideal candidate must be willing to “roll up one’s sleeves”
