Job Description

What We Do: We work cross functionally to provide the Sales Organization the right content, training and mentorship they need to hone their skillsets and effectively engage their buyers. We work with our newest team members as well as our most tenured Account Executives. When new team members arrive, we are here to help them build a foundational knowledge of PayScale, our product offerings, and our buyers.

What You Do: You are a technical authority that will have ownership over our technical and product trainings. You will ensure our team members understand our product offerings inside and out. You know how to uncover specific buyer needs and tie them to specific offerings. You will be responsible for making sales resources like Highspot and Mindtickle clean and simple to use.

Day-in-the-Life: As a Sales Trainer, a typical day may include the following…

  • Lead a New Hire Product Certification course
  • Conduct product mock demos with AE's
  • Meet with Product Marketing to understand an upcoming feature launch
  • Assemble examples of team members pitching new product functionality
  • Craft training videos for our internal technologies
  • Update and Audit Sales Collateral in Highspot

First Year in Role:

  • Month 3: You are up to speed on all product offerings and have an understanding of how we educate our newest AEs on all things product
  • Month 6: You've had a major hand in building a product certification plan for our new hires. You are leading a this course, and product certifying all new team members. You are the go-to person for technical enablement tools
  • Month 12: You are in sync with our Sales Engineers to understand and build trainings around product related knowledge gaps or positioning new features as needed. You have crafted a Phase One and Phase Two Product Certification program

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 1-2 years experience selling, servicing or training on a technical offering

Skills:

  • Phenomenal interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
  • Polished presentation skills
  • Ability to take and incorporate feedback

Cami has deep compensation knowledge and has spent over 10 years at PayScale in a variety of Sales and Sales Leadership roles.
