About the Role: 

RealSelf is seeking a detailed-oriented Salesforce Administrator to work in our Seattle office. Does taking ownership of a Salesforce Instance and driving the vision of usability and success excite you? You will work directly with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing and other functions to understand challenging problems and exciting business objectives. You will then leverage your experience, broad and deep knowledge of the multiple modules of Salesforce to design both standard and creative solutions. You will plan, prioritize, develop and roll out these solutions with rigorous testing. Given our startup culture, you will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment by responding to ad hoc requests while managing to get large and important work still done.

In this role you will:

• Manage day to day operations of Salesforce (primarily in the Sales Cloud)
• Thoughtfully implement automated procedures using a DRY (don’t repeat yourself) principle
• Test changes in a rigorous way that minimizes impact to users
• Build alerting on all inbound and outbound processes to ensure automatic notification of errors
• Initiate, plan, prioritize, communicate and execute longer-term Salesforce projects
• Standardize our salesforce instance for use with products like Insight Squared or Bizible Marketing Attribution
• Collaborate with Salesforce developer to prioritize and delegate workload assignments (Apex experience recommended)
• Transfer our user base from Salesforce Classic to Salesforce Lightning
• Maintain and update reports and dashboards
• Manage integrations with tools like Conga, Rollup Helper, and Various Apex Triggers and Classes and troubleshoot issues that may occur
• Strategically identify gaps in our salesforce instance and proactively recommend solutions to core business problems
• Solve Core Salesforce Issues like Parent-Child Relationships, Standardized Opportunities, and introducing thoughtful validation

You may be the right fit if you have:

• 3 or more years as a full-time Salesforce Administrator
• Experience with programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Java and Apex a plus
• A demonstrated ability to execute urgent needs, while also thoughtfully curating a strategy or vision for the future of our Salesforce processes
• The ability to take an ambiguous request and translate it into a clearly scoped process for automation
• Proven capability to independently research and solve technical problems
• A sense of pride in writing clean, well-documented code and processes
