The Salesforce Administrator will play a critical role at Ekata. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both leadership and subject matter experts to develop and optimize cross-functional business processes.

The Salesforce Administrator will provide support to the organization through the customization and configuration of Ekata’s Salesforce instance . The candidate will have a record of success in improving Salesforce processes and increasing adoption.

The Salesforce Administrator is part technical project manager, part administrator, and part data analyst. The position will manage the Salesforce.com database, provide training and support to users, and create reports and dashboards.  Additionally, this role will provide administrative support to the sales team.

In the Salesforce Administrator role you will:

  • Serve as primary system administrator for Ekata’s Salesforce.com org
  • Manage Salesforce security including roles, profiles, sharing rules, and groups
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user maintenance, custom reports, dashboards, validation rules, process builder, flows, and other routine tasks
  • Manage operational requests including permission sets, custom views, and troubleshooting issues
  • Coordinate activities between sales and other departments (such as account services, marketing, and training)
  • Complete regular internal system audits
  • Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
  • Maintain database for integrity and accuracy including cleansing and duplicate record management
  • Develop training materials and provide training and support to SalesForce.com end users
  • Increase Salesforce.com adoption through system improvements and reporting
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests
  • Work with our management team to establish change request processes
  • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document requirements
  • Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users

Our ideal Salesforce Administrator will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or other related field
  • Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator with two years experience in Lightning
  • com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Developer certifications preferred
  • Lightning Experience Specialist Super Badge, and experience with Marketing Automation data workflows preferred
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionalities
  • Strong data management abilities
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Experience in implementation, training, and documentation preferred
  • Experience integrating and administering multiple software applications preferred (Outreach, Openprise, Gainsight, NC Squared,…)

  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
