Auth0 is looking for a Senior Director, Global Account Development to join our growing team. You will own the global Account Development team - a team of approximately 40 people - and will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team in order to build new business relationships and drive qualified opportunities to the sales organization. You will help uncover new opportunities, selling the benefits of Auth0, while demonstrating the advantage of Auth0 versus the competition. This is a non-quota carrying role and you will have a focus on pipeline development.

 

This role will be based out of Auth0’s Bellevue, WA corporate office.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement strategic inside sales plans and forecasts in partnership with Marketing, Demand Generation and other cross functional teams
  • Manage the global pipeline development strategy and execution (Both Inbound and Outbound motions)
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Demand Generation to maximize lead generation opportunities
  • Develop and manage global KPI‘s, inside sales funnels, inside sales analysis tools and other reports as necessary to effectively manage performance to monthly, quarterly and annual inside sales goals
  • Provide and foster a culture of career growth into the broader quota carrying sales org
  • Ensure team is learning, operating and leveraging best practices globally in a consistent manner
  • Meet regularly with our sales leaders to discuss challenges and successes individually as well as for their teams and delegate any new projects
  • Achieve near term goals in ensuring the inside sales team is meeting pipeline expectations while driving towards long term vision
  • Proactively and continually identify opportunities for scale that will increase efficiency and effectiveness of the inside sales team and the broader sales team in general
  • Translate data and metrics into actionable business insights
  • Enable the inside sales team to effectively discover, qualify and close new business
  • Design and implement successful playbook for scalable, repeatable inside sales outcomes on a global scale
  • Perform research on prospect or customer accounts in territory
  • Drive business generation while growing existing client relationships
  • Collect market and client information and provide feedback to leadership
  • Actively hire and develop a high-performing global inside sales team 

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in inside sales and/or account development for SaaS products
  • 4+ years experience in a leadership or management role overseeing a technical inside sales team on a global level
  • Proven experience in building, leading and scaling a high-performing global inside sales team - including process, tools and infrastructure
  • Experience with high-growth companies strongly preferred
  • High level of understanding of the identity market including our business/industry and our competitors; uses that knowledge to drive the inside sales strategy
  • Proven strategic planning and business leadership capabilities; understanding of business financial analysis
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, Sales Operations and other internal teams to understand funnel health, implement process for scale, grow pipeline and meet targets.
  • Proficiency using sales tools such as Outreach and Salesforce
  • Proven ability to develop functional metrics and drive them into the organization so that your team effectively and efficiently understands, adopts, and executes them to achieve results
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Analytical ability with experience and insights in reporting for executive audiences
  • Proven track record of achieving results in a matrixed, time sensitive environment
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and hands-on environment, seamlessly moving between strategy and execution
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%
