The Strategic Partnerships Lead will help identify and drive partnerships and alliances with technology companies that drive value for Unity and its developer ecosystem. You will work closely with the Sr. Director of Business Development, Unity Executives, Product, Engineering, and other key internal & external stakeholders to develop and execute strategies to create deep and lasting strategic partnerships. You should possess the ability to develop a deep understanding of Unity’s products and ecosystem, develop a partnership strategy for key players in the industry and flawlessly execute plans to deliver desired results.

Responsibilities

• Generate commercial and strategic value for Unity through partnerships with new or existing partners in support of Unity’s strategic priorities and key initiatives
• Develop new partnership products or ideas based on a strong understanding of Unity, its ecosystem, and the content creation landscape
• Build consensus across engineering, product, and marketing teams on partnership opportunities and ideas
• Collaboratively develop partnership models, identify, and pitch potential partners and structure, negotiate and close partnerships in order to meet or exceed objectives
• Marketing, Finance, and Legal to gain support for key initiatives and establish and nurture relationships with key partners at every level

Requirements

• Previous business development experience at large technology company preferably in the gaming, content creation or platform space
• Deep knowledge of the video game or content creation ecosystem and senior contacts at key industry players
• Proven ability to structure, negotiate and execute complex strategic partnerships
• Great teamwork and interpersonal skills, including strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and an embedded drive for results
• Ability to move quickly and build consensus with stakeholders
• Extensive experience working on technology partnerships, strategic partnerships, middleware business development, or game/3D publishing
• Willingness to travel 25%
• Experience and comfort with the technical aspect of content development
• MBA from top school or equivalent work experience
