Candidates must be able to commit to 3 days per week in person, in Boomi’s Conshohocken, PA office for the duration of the internship (5/20/2024 - 8/9/2024).
As a Strategic Finance Intern, you will be at the heart of our financial strategy, supporting key activities that drive our business forward. Your responsibilities will encompass financial planning and analysis tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Moreover, you'll delve into research and analysis to provide insights crucial for strategic decision-making and long-term planning initiatives.
This role offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the development of financial models aimed at evaluating investment opportunities and refining business strategies. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights for reporting and presentations. Additionally, you'll be instrumental in supporting ad-hoc projects and initiatives, playing a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency and financial performance.
What you'll do:
Assist in financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning initiatives
Assist in the development of financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and business strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights for reporting and presentations
Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed to drive operational efficiency and financial performance
What you'll need:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, preferably Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Passion for finance and a desire to learn about the strategic decision-making process
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to commit to 3 days per week in person in Boomi’s Conshohocken, PA office for the duration of the internship period (5/20/2024 - 8/9/2024)
Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation for this internship based in Conshohocken, PA, is $25.79 hourly.
