About the team & opportunity
Ontra is seeking a Talent Programs Manager - Employer Brand to join our newly formed Talent Programs team. Reporting to our Senior Manager, Talent Programs, this pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about leading critical initiatives in talent acquisition, talent development, DEIB, and people analytics. Additionally, the Talent Programs Manager will play a leading role in supporting and elevating the company's employer brand strategy through various strategic content initiatives aimed at strengthening Ontra's brand image.
The Talent Programs team is a newly established team within the company, marking an exciting time to join and contribute to shaping its direction and success from the ground up. Being a part of the Talent Programs team will offer a chance to become a consultative, trusted partner to the business by driving organizational success through People-centered programs, as well as providing an opportunity to influence foundational strategies and processes in a significant way.

What you'll do

  • Lead Programs: Drive key programs spanning talent acquisition, talent development, DEIB, and people analytics under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Talent Programs.
  • Initiative Development: Implement tailored, data-driven initiatives to attract, retain, manage, and develop a diverse and high-performing workforce.
  • Brand Support: Support employer brand strategy through strategic content initiatives aimed at promoting a positive company culture and attracting top talent.
  • Content Strategy: Develop long-term content plans for ongoing branding strategies such as heritage months and employer awards and support the development of SLAs for brand posts.
  • Strategic Input: Provide data and input to the Talent Programs roadmap, mission, and processes.
  • Ownership and Collaboration: Take full ownership of Talent Programs initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders as required, and documenting results effectively.


What you'll bring

  • Talent expertise: 3+ years of experience in a People-centered role, such as employer branding, talent acquisition, talent development, or generalist HR.
  • Brand expertise: 1+ years of experience creating and implementing successful branding strategies.
  • Flexibility: Ability and flexibility to attend company offsites/retreats for content-related activities.
  • Project management: Experience managing projects from initiation to completion, collaborating with stakeholders of varying levels and using project management software
  • Technical acumen: Ability to confidently use the following applications: Asana, Canva, Slack, Excel (intermediate proficiency), LinkedIn.
  • Ownership mentality: Assumes an ownership mentality and is able to independently drive on projects while also handling change and conflicting priorities as business needs arise and adjust.
  • Data-focused: Strong analytical skills with a data-driven and research-oriented approach.
  • Teamwork-oriented: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, i.e., The People team, Executives, ERG's.


Pay transparency
Ontra considers candidate location and experience when evaluating compensation levels. Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as variable compensation, which is not included in the base pay range below. Base pay range
$92,000 - $129,000 USD
