Gopuff's Accounts Payable (AP) team is rapidly growing and is seeking an AP Supervisor to join the team! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team who is transforming Accounts Payable to better support our customer's needs. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will deliver high quality service to internal and external customers by overseeing the AP inventory Team and identifying continuous improvement opportunities particularly relating to EDI invoice submission. We are looking for an individual who can bring both their AP expertise and customer obsession to help us enhance our Procure to Pay (P2P) processes. This is a unique opportunity to engage with internal partners to transform how Gopuff procures.
Gopuff takes pride in creative problem-solving and in-person collaborating to make quick and informed decisions. This role will have a hybrid work schedule, where you will be able to showcase your creativity and build strong relationships with teams in a cross-functional manner three days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our Philadelphia, Miami, or New York City HQs.
You Will:

    • Assist in developing a world class Accounts Payable organization that can efficiently scale with Gopuff's hyper growth
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on best practices and improve the overall effectiveness of the AP Inventory Team as well as provide guidance for longer term strategic direction and strategies
    • Lead key AP initiatives to streamline processes by engaging key stakeholders throughout the organization
    • Assist in developing 3-way match invoice process procedures and ensure controls are being performed
    • Monitor vendor EDI invoice submissions for issues and assist in finding solutions to minimize manual intervention needed
    • Establish relationships with key suppliers and maintain communication with vendors to on 3-way match discrepancies and resolutionIdentify bottlenecks and drive solutions through automation
    • Work with AP Payment Processing team to ensure timely and accurate payments to prevent credit holds
    • Onboard new inventory suppliers into ERP system
    • Ensure proper coding of invoices in general ledger system
    • Ability to monitor and appropriately delegate high volume of invoices and vendors efficiently and effectively
    • Develop KPIs for AP Inventory Team to drive initiatives to scale the organization
    • Ad-hoc projects


You Have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business preferred
    • 4+ years' Accounts Payable experience
    • 2+ years of Supervisor/Management experience
    • Highly proficient in EDI implementation and invoice triaging
    • Exposure to P2P solutions/automation
    • Experience dealing with high volume of vendors/invoicing
    • Experience in Oracle or other ERP system
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines
    • Strong communication skills - verbal and writing
    • Excellent attention to detail and organization
    • Good at working independently - Proactive, self-starter


    • Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. The salary range below reflects what we'd reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. For additional information on this role's compensation package, please reach out to the designated recruiter for this role.
    • Salary Range (varies based on a cost of labor index for geographic area within United States): $61,200 - $102,600
