SpecterOps is searching for an experienced technical project manager to support the BloodHound Enterprise team. BloodHound Enterprise (https://bloodhoundenterprise.io ) is a defensive Attack Path Management solution for Active Directory based on the enormously popular BloodHound open-source software. BloodHound Enterprise allows defenders to finally take prioritized actions in their environments to cut off millions of Attack Paths at once and defend their organizations from cybersecurity attacks such as ransomware. 

We are looking for an individual skilled in project management to help us build reliable backend APIs and services that power our application and support the collection, processing, and retrieval of security related telemetry: 

  • The Project Manager is an individual contributor role that focuses on enabling team logistic efforts.
  • The Project Manager’s focus is on team introspection and process development. 
  • The Project Manager has no HR responsibilities and only operates as a facilitator of team communication and process. 

Salary Range: Base salary annually, commensurate with experience 

  • Mid-level $110,000 - $130,000

Location: This position is remote, based in the U.S. with optional travel quarterly for in person company events and other ad hoc meetings 

  • Candidate must be authorized to work and reside in the United States; we do not currently sponsor immigration visas

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly refine project priorities with product team.
  • Help determine feature scope and acceptance criteria. 
  • Regularly refine and encode clear deliverables derived from product acceptance criteria. 
  • Develop and manage a project schedule that conforms to the current product roadmap. 
  • Conduct regular team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding team blockers. 
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders regarding engineering team strategy, adjustments, and progress. 
  • Create management, communication plans and processes to connect product and technical development efforts. 
  • Measure and document project velocity to identify areas for improvement. 
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements and track project costs. 

Requirements:

  • Experience, 2+ years of software design and application development.
  • Familiarity with back-end languages such as C#, Go, or Python. 
  • Familiarity with database technology. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods. 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others. 
  • Experience working with Atlassian products (JIRA and Confluence). 
  • Experience working with Git Repository products (GitLab & GitHub).

Nice to Haves: 

  • Project management related certification from an accredited intuition preferred. 
  • Previous managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration or Computer Science preferred.
