Bellevue-based Limeade just debuted its initial public offering across the Pacific Ocean.

On Dec. 20, Limeade listed on the Australian Securities Exchange with the ticker symbol LME. The company raised $68.75 million because of the IPO, and has reached a market cap of $335 million.

Limeade is an employee experience software company that has built a platform for organizations to promote the well-being of their workers. The platform can help measure how employees are feeling, as well as boost inclusion, diversity and engagement.

“Employees have more voice, power and career mobility than ever — and many actively reject toxic, discriminatory, fixed-mindset or command-and-control company cultures. As a result, the employee experience market is expanding but not yet delivering what large companies and their people want and need,” Henry Albrecht, Limeade founder and CEO, said in a statement. “Limeade is perfectly positioned to provide the key elements of employee experience in a unified, mobile-first platform, through the lens of care.”

The money from the IPO will help the company invest in refining its platform and continue its growth in U.S. and international markets.

Over 175 companies from 100-plus countries use Limeade’s software, accounting for more than 2.4 million users.

Limeade believes that a strong employee experience leads to better retention, higher productivity and increased workforce engagement, which ultimately comes back to benefit the organization. Companies that use Limeade report that they have three times lower employee turnover, and internal studies show 85 percent of these employees feel engaged at work, according to the company.

Limeade has been recognized for practicing what it preaches. It was voted the #1 Best Workplace in Washington by the Puget Sound Business Journal, made it to Fortune’s Great Places to Work list and was recognized in Entrepreneur magazine’s Top Company Cultures list.
