For instance, 98point6’s Jenna Walcott, senior director of brand and content marketing, said that the company’s mission of delivering accessible, affordable primary care has kept her there for nearly four years now.
Though the tech is certainly special, it’s not the only thing that keeps them around. PHYTEC America’s Technical Sales Manager Fernando Benitez attributes his tenure to the company’s culture and flexibility.

As a tenured employee, what has been the biggest reason you've stayed at 98point6 so long?
In addition to working with a first-class team, our mission of delivering accessible, affordable primary care makes 98point6 an extremely rewarding place to work. As I approach my fourth anniversary, it’s incredible to look back on the evolution of our product, as well as our exponential growth. I know I’ve played a meaningful role — paving the way forward for what I believe will be an enduring brand and service that inspires long-term health.
Over the last 12 months, those feelings became even more palpable as our virtual solution met the needs of so many when care was difficult to get and critical to population health. I know this is the kind of work that matters. And even when the pandemic is behind us, I’m helping positively shift healthcare in a way that will impact lives.

Looking to the future, what excites you most about where 98point6 is headed?
The recent and rapid adoption of virtual care over the past year due to COVID-19 has opened tremendous opportunities for digital health. However, what we’re doing here has been important even prior to the pandemic. We’ve been committed to delivering primary care to every human without a financial trade-off since the beginning. Knowing we have the ability to address a range of long-standing problems and new challenges — from inequities impacting marginalized populations to helping people prioritize their physical and mental health — that fuels my passion. It’s not every day that you get to work on something that could change the world.

As a tenured employee, what has been the biggest reason you've stayed at PHYTEC America so long?
The reasons why I enjoy working at PHYTEC is the culture and flexibility. I enjoy working at companies that give me the “family company” feeling while still being a global entity. A company like this allows me to have the benefits of a larger company while still feeling like my voice is heard and that I influence decisions. Looking to the future, what excites you most about where PHYTEC is headed?
I am excited to see the growth of PHYTEC and participate in the evolution of the company. As we continue to grow, many more challenges come up. I welcome the challenge to expand our customer base and explore new areas of revenue. This allows me to be creative as I develop a strategy for diversifying our customer base. It also lets me collaborate with other teams as we develop new products, marketing strategies and improve our processes to sustain the growth that we are expecting.
