AI-Powered HR Platform Textio Announces New CEO

Textio, an AI platform for hiring teams, has announced a leadership transition. Kieran Snyder, co-founder and chief executive officer, has retired from her role, and Jensen Harris, co-founder and chief experience officer, has been appointed as the new CEO. Snyder will now serve as the chief scientist emeritus and retain her board seat. 

Snyder and Harris co-founded Textio in 2014 and launched the company’s first product, Textio Loop. The augmented writing software is designed to help companies optimize job posts to appeal to the broadest possible audience. Textio’s latest product, Textio Lift, works to help managers write more equitable performance feedback. 

Textio Lift has seen significant success, with all of its of existing customers renewing in 2023 and problematic language in performance feedback dropping by 50-100 percent, according to the company.

To date, more than 1,300 customers have used Textio’s AI-powered HR platform. Under Harris’ leadership, the company is now focused on rapidly expanding Textio Lift to more customers and scaling effective performance feedback across teams.
