Performs general ledger reconciliations, accounting reports, month-end close activities, fixed asset and prepaid asset accounting, accounts payable processing, journal entries, and discrepancy research. Supports audits and regulatory examinations, responds to accounting inquiries, follows internal controls, and provides accounting guidance to departments. Requires knowledge of GAAP, strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and proficiency with accounting and office software.

Performs complex accounting activities, including general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, fixed asset accounting, accounts payable, audits, regulatory reporting, and investment recordkeeping. Investigates discrepancies, applies internal controls, supports process improvements, answers accounting questions, and provides technical support to accounting staff. Requires two years of progressively responsible accounting experience and knowledge of GAAP, credit union operations, and related regulations.

Administers and supports enterprise infrastructure, Windows and Linux environments, Azure, Microsoft 365, virtualization, identity services, PKI, backups, and core banking systems. Automates processes, manages access and security remediation, supports disaster recovery, investigates root causes, maintains technical documentation, and provides Tier 3 and on-call support. Coordinates infrastructure projects, change management, vendor engagements, audits, and lifecycle planning.

Lead accounting operations for a credit union: prepare financial statements, oversee regulatory filings (NCUA Call Reports), manage general ledger and reconciliations, direct accounting staff, maintain internal controls and CECL allowance processes, drive month/quarter/year-end close, coordinate audits and regulatory exams, support CFO with financial analysis, and implement process improvements and automation.
