Responsibilities include managing SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR/CCPA, audits, policies, vendor risk, security awareness, and customer security communications. The role also provides technical direction for security tooling, cloud security, identity and access management, application security, vulnerability management, architecture reviews, and threat modeling.

Lead a pod owning Canary's Physical Access product (Mobile Key), design and evolve architecture for lock-vendor integrations and encoder/BLE paths, improve reliability and latency, partner with Product, mentor and manage engineers, run pod processes, and hire for the team.
