The Investments Lead will source, evaluate software acquisition opportunities, and manage the investment lifecycle from diligence to deal closing, while building sourcing processes and developing team staff.

Build and run the holding companys day-to-day legal function across portfolio companies: intake and triage, contract template management, outside counsel coordination, routine commercial contract negotiation, entity governance, post-acquisition legal integration, and escalation of specialist matters.

Build and lead a centralized IT function across a holding company and portfolio. Run acquisition IT workstreams and create a Day 1-100 integration playbook. Select and operate identity and access systems, build joiner/mover/leaver processes, maintain living inventory of tools/accounts/licenses, manage MSP relationships and vendor contracts, and connect back-end systems to the cross-portfolio data platform while engaging business stakeholders.

Lead design and deployment of a scalable People function across portfolio companies: implement HRIS/ATS/performance systems, build talent acquisition playbooks, performance management, manager training, people analytics, and DEI programs to support rapid scaling and integration post-acquisition.

Embed at newly acquired software companies to operationalize strategy, run weekly operating cadence, lead cross-functional execution workstreams, align leadership on scorecards, and rotate across portfolio companies providing hands-on and board-level support to drive ARR growth and profitability.

Build and maintain detailed FP&A models and standardized reporting; own quarterly forecasts; partner with accounting to fix data quality; run ad-hoc unit-economics and cash runway analyses and present findings to executives and investors.
