Endurance Benefits Overview

The Director of Legal Affairs will serve as Endurance’s first in-house lawyer, leading commercial contracting, procurement agreements, corporate governance, financings, compliance, employment matters, intellectual property, and entity management. The role manages outside counsel, develops legal processes and templates, supports offshore leasing and international projects, and advises executives on risk. The position requires an experienced generalist comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, venture-backed energy and hardware startup.

Lead Endurance’s external and internal communications, including earned media, press releases, executive media training, social channels, crisis communications, internal updates, and stakeholder messaging. Translate complex geothermal technology into accurate, compelling stories while building communications systems, guidelines, calendars, and approval processes. Partner with engineering, creative, people, and external affairs teams. The role is based on-site in Seattle with occasional travel to deployments, events, and partner sites.

Build Endurance’s software ecosystem for testing and validating subsea geothermal power plants. Responsibilities include firmware, controls, hardware-in-the-loop and simulation environments, automated test execution, data acquisition, operator interfaces, visualization, industrial system integration, and production-line automation. The engineer will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, controls, and systems teams, establish scalable software architecture, support company-wide software projects, and help grow the test infrastructure organization.
