Leads laboratory planning for medium- to large-scale architecture and engineering projects. Meets with users to define technical requirements, prepares programs, develops design proposals, coordinates multidisciplinary teams, conducts code research, reviews construction documents, and supports project pursuits. Advises teams on laboratory environments including teaching labs, cleanrooms, vivaria, technical labs, and related spaces. Contributes to planning standards, thought leadership, presentations, conferences, and equipment requirement documentation.

Design and document electrical systems from concept through construction. Perform lighting and power calculations, short circuit studies, NEC compliance, Revit modeling, QA/QC, coordination with disciplines and consultants, RFI/submittal responses, field verification, and mentor junior staff while tracking project hours and supporting client interactions.
