Develop embedded firmware and software for customer projects from requirements through production. Responsibilities include firmware design, microcontroller and Embedded Linux development, testing, documentation, integration, continuous deployment, and iterative customer feedback cycles. The role also supports electronics testing, HSE compliance, eco-design, product lifecycle analysis, and CSR improvements across projects in robotics, medical devices, mobility, and other high-tech markets.

The Vice President of Sales will help drive business growth for Kickmaker, a high-tech product design and industrialization agency serving medical, mobility, robotics, IoT, consumer devices, and other technology markets. The role is based within Kickmaker’s U.S. expansion across Boston, Seattle, and San Francisco, supporting a global team and innovative product development ecosystem.

Design, prototype, test, and improve mechanical systems for robotic actuators, joints, and assemblies. The role includes motor sizing, wiring layouts, thermal management, CAD development, GD&T, sensor and electronics integration, bench validation, and collaboration with manufacturing partners on casting, machining, and assembly. The engineer will also support automation and system integration during robotic builds.

Develops electronic hardware from requirements and architecture through prototyping, testing, certification, manufacturing documentation, and production support. Designs schematics, PCB layouts, wiring, and manufacturing files; coordinates with suppliers and EMS partners; conducts validation testing; supports EMC, radio, and electrical safety certification; and contributes to quality, HSE, eco-design, lifecycle analysis, and ESG improvement initiatives.
