Own the end-to-end architecture and roadmap for MyFitnessPal’s product data stack. Coordinate data engineering, business intelligence, product analytics, and backend teams; establish data movement and standardization practices; lead tool evaluations and platform migrations; implement governance, PII handling, deletion workflows, access controls, and cost optimization; and document architecture standards across the organization.

Leads day-to-day influencer marketing execution, including creator relationships, deal evaluation, content oversight, budgets, contracts, and team development. Builds influencer strategies, manages measurement and attribution, tracks KPIs, and reports ROI. Partners with Brand, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Legal, and Finance to integrate creator campaigns. Improves automation and processes for outreach, tracking, reporting, and payments while monitoring industry trends and emerging platforms.

Develop and deliver native iOS features for MyFitnessPal’s AI-powered food logging experience. Responsibilities include implementing user interfaces, optimizing performance and network communications, building tested and secure solutions, collaborating with product and design teams, researching technical approaches, mentoring developers, and contributing to deployment and engineering best practices.

Develop and deliver native iOS features for MyFitnessPal’s Cal AI food-logging experience. Responsibilities include building interfaces in Swift, optimizing UI, storage, and network performance, implementing tests, researching technical solutions, collaborating with product and design teams, promoting engineering best practices, and mentoring junior developers.

Lead a cross-functional advertising engineering squad of backend and iOS engineers. Partner with Product and Design to discover, prioritize, and deliver consumer-facing ad experiences through experimentation. Manage backlog health, technical debt, delivery quality, and team ceremonies while coaching engineers and fostering an empowered, high-trust team. Support scalable, maintainable mobile applications and navigate privacy, consent, and advertising requirements.

Own reliability and security of CI/CD and production services: define SLI/SLOs, lead incident response and postmortems, build observability (Datadog), operate Kubernetes and IaC (Terraform), harden pipelines with SAST/DAST/SCA and policy-as-code, and coach teams on reliability and operational best practices.

Lead a cross-functional backend and iOS engineering squad to grow paid subscribers by building and maintaining app store and Stripe integrations, prioritize platform stability, drive growth experiments, manage delivery and tech debt, and coach engineers through close partnership with Product and Design.
