Supports the design, integration, and delivery of secure, scalable federal IT and cloud architectures. Translates mission requirements into technical designs, diagrams, specifications, and user stories; collaborates with software, infrastructure, data, and test teams; and supports cloud-native, DevSecOps, CI/CD, security, and compliance initiatives aligned with NIST RMF, FedRAMP, and DoD requirements.

Lead AI/ML initiatives for Air Force condition-based maintenance, from predictive model development through production deployment. Architect data pipelines, develop machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and generative AI solutions, and build knowledge graph capabilities. Provide technical leadership, integrate models into applications and workflows, and monitor data quality, model performance, drift, and bias. Coordinate engineering teams, translate mission needs into technical solutions, guide tradeoff decisions, mentor technical leaders, and ensure AI/ML systems improve fleet maintenance, aircraft availability, and military readiness. The role requires Databricks expertise, technical leadership, stakeholder communication, and an active Secret clearance.

Lead enterprise data engineering efforts supporting defense missions. Responsibilities include prioritizing technical tasks, mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, translating government requirements into scalable data architectures, developing Databricks ETL/ELT pipelines with Python, PySpark, and SQL, troubleshooting pipeline performance and reliability, and documenting systems. The role collaborates with government stakeholders, product owners, data scientists, analysts, and technical teams to deliver secure, high-throughput data platforms and actionable insights.

Build and operate a modern web platform replacing a legacy federal financial system. Develop TypeScript and Node.js domain services, REST APIs, financial calculation engines, workflows, integrations, audit controls, and database logic. Conduct business-rule archaeology across Java and PL/SQL, implement tested parity, and contribute across UI, infrastructure, CI/CD, security, and cloud operations. Use agentic AI development tools, review production code rigorously, mentor teammates, and deliver complete vertical slices. Travel is required no more than once per quarter.

Develop and integrate mission-critical software within the TAK ecosystem, including ATAK, WinTAK, MILTAK, and TAK Server. Build CoT data pipelines, low-latency APIs, sensor and intelligence data ingestion systems, CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and edge-deployed applications. Troubleshoot tactical networks and integration issues while translating defense mission requirements into scalable solutions. The role requires significant TAK ecosystem experience, multiple programming languages, security clearance, and up to 25% travel.
