Customer Success leads the onboarding process and establishes long-term relationships with new clients. You will understand our customers' business goals for the project, envision and provide a relevant solution design that encapsulates industry best practices, and follow a defined implementation process that consistently delivers on implementation milestones and target completion dates. Customer Success also is responsible for proactively checking in with a large book of existing clients. This entails answering technical and non-technical customer inquiries, providing additional training, communicating system improvements, and managing feedback. You will have the ability to grow your role by contributing to help documentation, expanding our social media presence, writing articles for our blog, and taking advantage of other opportunities as they arise.

The new business Account Executive (AE) will manage the sales process for new prospective customers throughout the sales cycle for both warm and cold leads. Ultimately, the AE is accountable for exceeding monthly/quarterly quota, proactive deal management, forecast accuracy, and driving adoption/usage with customers and prospects in collaboration with internal teams and the broader Shiftboard partner ecosystem. Successful candidates will be highly motivated, smart, curious self-starters who are eager to learn, determined to adapt quickly, comfortable with ambiguity, and have a strong desire to be part of building a business. Strong cross-functional teamwork and proven success engaging various pre/post sales resources required.

In this role, you will utilize outbound efforts to engage with key prospect accounts, speak with inbound prospects, and foster communication with potential clients. The Market Development Representative engages and qualifies prospective customers through specific, targeted questions regarding their business needs, consulting on Shiftboard’s products, and evaluating the potential fit for partnership. The Market Development Representative will run the preliminary sales cycle, up to and including demonstrating the Shiftboard platform. This is an inside sales role, where the majority of one’s time will be on the phone. This position is an individual contributor and reports to the Director of Sales.
