Owns prioritization, experimentation, metrics, build-versus-buy decisions, business outcomes, and stakeholder communication while mentoring product managers and influencing company strategy.

Build and deploy AI-enabled workflows across internal departments, partnering with business leaders and subject-matter experts. Conducts independent AML and fraud investigations involving retail banking, brokerage, cryptocurrency, and virtual assets. Performs on-chain transaction tracing, evaluates sanctions and money-laundering risks, determines whether activity warrants Suspicious Activity Report filing, and documents case findings. Supports detection improvements, process enhancements, training, and ad hoc investigations while maintaining knowledge of BSA/AML, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, and virtual-asset regulations.

Serves as the lead legal advisor on OFAC sanctions and BSA/AML requirements for a financial services company. Responsibilities include advising on sanctions programs, investigations, voluntary disclosures, licenses, screening, reporting, product risks, regulatory examinations, commercial agreements, policy development, training, and outside counsel. The role partners with Compliance, Risk, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Financial Crimes teams and engages with OFAC, FinCEN, OCC, and Federal Reserve regulators.

Leads and coaches licensed personal lines insurance agents, drives sales and service metrics, oversees insurance sales from intake through fulfillment, identifies cross-sell opportunities, and develops processes for SoFi Protect. Manages performance, hiring, team development, and carrier relationships while advising members on Home, Auto, and Life Insurance coverage.

Manage strategic sourcing and procurement projects across financial services categories, including RFPs, renewals, supplier negotiations, benchmarking, spend analysis, and cost-saving initiatives. Partner with Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Information Security, and business stakeholders to evaluate suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, manage contracts, monitor supplier performance, and ensure procurement governance. Prepare financial analyses, business cases, savings forecasts, and executive recommendations while managing multiple cross-functional projects.

Supports SoFi’s Litigation and Arbitration group by managing service-of-process intake, subpoenas, threatened and filed matters, legal correspondence, litigation tracking, invoices, vendors, and legal support workflows. Maintains accurate case records, coordinates with attorneys and outside counsel, supports complex legal requests, and ensures timely responses while handling confidential information and multiple deadlines.

Processes regular and off-cycle U.S. payroll, calculates wages and deductions, reconciles payroll reports, validates timekeeping data, resolves employee inquiries, supports audits, maintains compliance with payroll regulations and SOX controls, documents procedures, and recommends process improvements.
