Build and maintain Stripe Identity mobile SDKs and verification experiences for iOS, Android, and React Native. Develop secure document and selfie capture flows, reusable APIs, integrations with backend services, and reliable mobile software. Improve performance, testing, observability, accessibility, release processes, and backward compatibility while collaborating with product, design, machine learning, backend, and research teams.

As a Senior Staff Engineer, you'll define technical strategies for merchant experiences, lead complex projects, champion quality culture, innovate UX with AI, and mentor engineers.

Own frontend quality, consistency, performance, and visual craft across Stripe Dashboard’s highest-traffic surfaces. Partner with Design and Product, contribute to the design system, establish frontend standards, mentor engineers, and prototype AI-powered merchant experiences. Collaborate with backend engineers while maintaining a primary focus on advanced frontend development, intuitive user experiences, and high-quality implementation across a large codebase.

Lead Stripe’s global partner marketing strategy for Services, GSI, Technology, and ISV partners. Manage a distributed team, establish multi-year operating and investment models, build executive relationships, develop joint marketing programs, and drive partner-sourced pipeline, customer activation, and product adoption. Oversee market development funds, performance dashboards, ROI analysis, agency relationships, and scalable marketing playbooks across global regions.

Lead and grow Stripe’s Sandboxes engineering team, setting technical direction and operating critical testing systems. Own planning, strategy, roadmap, delivery, system performance, and user experience while partnering with Product, Design, Data Science, Infrastructure, Marketing, and Operations. Hire, coach, and develop engineers; maintain high engineering standards; and build reusable developer tools and platform capabilities that support scalable testing, AI agents, and customer integrations.

Build and operate distributed, event-driven integrations connecting Metronome with payment, billing, marketplace, ERP, and CRM platforms. Develop reliable invoice delivery and payment workflows with retries, reconciliation, observability, and automated repair. Responsibilities include translating fintech requirements into scalable software, leading multi-team technical projects, debugging production issues, analyzing complex datasets, supporting payment infrastructure, and improving data pipeline reliability through monitoring and automation.

Leads editorial and creative direction for Stripe’s external media partnerships and brand marketing programs. Develops compelling content from data, economic insights, customer stories, and complex technology or business topics. Oversees briefs, creative development, editing, agencies, publishers, and creators while maintaining a high quality bar. Advises internal teams and shapes original editorial concepts across blogs, newsletters, podcasts, advertising, social media, and other formats.

Manage a portfolio of enterprise Stripe customers throughout the post-sale lifecycle. Drive product adoption, account health, renewals, retention, expansion, and satisfaction through workshops, business reviews, payment insights, and product guidance. Partner with sales, technical account management, product, engineering, and support teams to resolve issues, advocate for customers, and identify growth opportunities.

Designs and maintains large-scale APIs and systems supporting money movement, translates product requirements into technical specifications, and guides product strategy. The role requires data science or quantitative modeling expertise, production model development, experimentation, SQL, Python or R, and translating analysis into business outcomes.
