Lead Design for Automation (DFA) through new product development, ensuring automation-ready designs. Provide senior manufacturing engineering support for automation, robotics, welding, assembly, tooling, and material handling. Design, program, deploy, and troubleshoot industrial controls and digital operations for manufacturing lines. Support PLC/HMI programming, MES integrations, field wiring, network communication, and automation projects while partnering with OT, IT, and manufacturing teams.

Develop and implement vehicle control architecture and real-time control systems for industrial mobile equipment using ROS2 and embedded controllers. Implement ros2_control interfaces, firmware/drivers for CAN-FD/I2C/SPI/UART/RS485, design and tune closed-loop controllers (PID/MPC/LQR), integrate sensors for state estimation, and model/control electro-hydraulic systems.

Manage and grow relationships with investor-owned utility customers across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Develop account plans, increase market share, conduct account reviews, provide pricing guidance, identify opportunities, coordinate purchase agreements, and maintain CRM forecasts. Collaborate with product support, service, and marketing teams to resolve issues and drive customer-focused growth. The role requires 50% travel, utility or equipment industry knowledge, complex account management experience, and a valid driving record.

Leads sales growth and market share for refuse collection vehicles, OEM and aftermarket parts across Canada. Manages distributors, direct sales personnel, dealer performance, budgets, margins, bids, agreements, training, business planning, and customer opportunities. Maintains CRM data, supports product development and demonstrations, oversees dealer excellence initiatives, and coordinates marketing, warranty, procurement, and sales funnel activities. The role requires heavy equipment sales management experience and up to 50% travel.
