Executive Search Sourcer | Recruiter

As an Executive Sourcer | Recruiter you will be responsible for external candidate development in support of the global executive search function for Expedia Group. You will build, implement and execute global candidate development strategies on an individual search basis for our leadership roles.

The core function of this role is to drive the identification, qualification and presentation of quality external candidates for searches, as well as pipelining talent for future opportunities.

What you’ll do:

  • Support multiple Search Partners by generating potential external candidates for search assignments
  • Attend intake meetings and client briefings/update meetings
  • Use competitive information, industry and geographical knowledge to support search progress
  • Diligently report findings to Search Partners, as necessary. for each search including market feedback on role, compensation, location, skill set and other factors
  • Initiate outreach with identified potential candidates in the passive search funnel
  • Efficiently and swiftly communicate the opportunity specifics, accurately assess prospect’s qualifications and influence candidate to pursue the opportunity and/or provide alternative sources or referrals
  • Executive Search is location, function and brand agnostic; understanding our company, brands and markets, including competitors/ecosystem, products, strategic direction and role specifics is imperative
  • Be an expert in the markets/verticals researched for each open position
  • Identify executives who have played a critical role in the success of top companies within the ecosystem and continuously scan the industry/market for additional targets
  • Prepare reports/data on an as needed basis for search support
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience, with timely follow-up, accurate information and details about the role including job description, process expectations and other details as needed
  • Create, build or augment job descriptions and job adverts according to team guidelines and post roles, when appropriate and agreed upon, internally and externally
  • If the role is posted, review applicants, provide timely disposition and track according to team guidelines in both Workday and Invenias (Executive Search CRM)

Who you are:

Ideal Experience

  • 3+ years recruiting experience required combined with previous executive search activity in a complex, high-tech environment focused on technology functions (engineering, technology, AI, machine learning, data science, etc.)
  • Knowledge of/or ability to quickly learn key industry segments including eCommerce, technology, digital media/internet, travel, retail, etc.
  • Strong integrity, team player, and rockstar verbal/written communication skills
  • Quick learning specifically as it relates to the functional breakdown and roles within the executive structure
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, non-negotiable
