Position Summary:
Are you curious, analytical, service-oriented, and love to learn? The Trupanion People Operations team is looking for an HRIS Specialist to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for the people data in our HRIS platform, providing analytical reporting and dashboards, and focusing on creating a positive team member experience and continuous improvement. This is an exciting time to join Trupanion as we are transitioning from ADP to Workday.
Candidates for this position have the option to work remotely from anywhere in the US, or out of our Seattle office, depending on their preference.
Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaboratively develops scalable solutions to meet business requirements around HR systems/processes including cross-functional teams in technology, finance, internal audit, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits.
  • Provides guidance and support to team members and people leaders on the use of Workday.
  • Develops and maintains processes that ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR processes & data.
  • Creates people data reports and analysis for internal leaders and Board Members. Provide ad hoc reports, as needed, to support the needs of business operations.
  • Monitors and responds to team member inquiries relating to People Operations, such as employment verification, resource locations, as well as escalating any issues to the appropriate partners for further resolution.
  • Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of Workday updates.
  • Creates process documentation to support Workday functionality.
  • Act as the main People Operations contact for internal and external audit requests.

  • Highly organized, with excellent time-management and follow-up skills, with the capability to balance multiple priorities.

Experience:
The ideal candidate will have 2 - 4+ years of experience in HR systems administration, preferably in Workday .
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Proficient in the use of Workday.
  • Proficient in the use of O365, with an emphasis on SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic understanding and exposure to people operations practices and employment laws preferred.
