Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced training leader for Trupanion’s Customer Care, Phone Sales & Retention teams! In this role, you will lead a team responsible for all aspects of training, including needs assessment and training strategy, content development, facilitation, and assessing impact. You will also be a key advisor to Contact Center leaders to help them identify the best ways to grow and develop their team members. You will be responsible for leading and building strategic plans as well as being a hands-on team member to help out where needed.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Build and drive training strategies that support Trupanion’s mission and strategic objectives
• Ensure all Contact Center team members have the capabilities for success, including product knowledge, consultative skills, and basic and advanced sales techniques
• Drive the strategy, creation, delivery, and maintenance of Contact Center training programs, including new hire onboarding and ongoing skill-building as determined by functional leaders
• Develop creative and flexible training solutions for fast-moving business areas
• Facilitate training in a variety of formats, including group workshops and 1x1 coaching
• Gather feedback and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of training solutions
• Assess opportunities and develop systems to improve training efficiency, including scheduling, logistics, technology, and staffing
• Inspire, coach and develop training team members for success, both direct and indirect reports.
• Management of LMS & all content contained within

Qualifications (Please include a cover letter with your application!)

Education, Registration & Certification:
• Degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Human Resources, or other related field is preferred.
Experience:
• 3+ years’ experience leading a training team
• 5+ years’ training and development experience, contact center & sales training experience preferred
• 1+ year of LMS administration
• Prior experience collaborating with business leaders to identify training needs and solutions
• Prior experience designing, developing and delivering content for a variety of audiences and skill levels

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
• Ability to motivate, teach, and inspire others
• Proven success building and optimizing training solutions
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
• Experience with a dynamic and rapidly changing work environment
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and collaborate
• Demonstrated written & oral communication skills, articulate and persuasive communicator across multiple organizational levels
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
