As the Learning & Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying training to ensure that our team members are set up for success as they grow into their careers.
You are highly driven and able to work effectively as an individual owner and as a team collaborator. Creativity, energy, and people skills are essential in this position. This role requires working with many stakeholders across the organization and the ability to prioritize a wide range of projects, while actively training our team.
What You'll Do
- Own all aspects of training, from coordinating and scheduling, assessing training needs, to developing and facilitating training programs
- Ensure up-to-date SOPs & compliance are reflected in all training
- Build and deliver training across the organization in a variety of mediums
- Keep training curriculum up to date on a regular basis to ensure consistency in business practices
- Facilitate assessments and evaluations to measure the impact of training
- Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements
- Ability to verify knowledge transfer, as well as employee happiness and engagement
Qualifications
- Experience in creating, developing, and implementing training programs
- Experience with a Learning Management System
- Attention to detail; ability to identify training requirement adjustments based on changing business environment
- Ability to analyze successes and opportunities and make real-time adjustments to training plans
- Self-starter who can deliver effective work autonomously and with a team
- Proficiency with Google Workspace
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional skills in presentation and PowerPoint development
- Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities
- Bachelor’s degree or higher is required
