About the Role
As Contract Manager, you will be part of a team providing legal support throughout the sales cycle for our fast-growing, global SaaS company. This means a lot of different things and it’s going to change over time. You will also support our growing procurement team and serve an integral role as we expand our Legal Operations function. You will report directly to the Associate General Counsel - Commercial Legal.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Highspot’s attorneys, sales teams, and other business leads on contract support matters, respond to inquiries regarding contract terms, and update database and dashboard information in Highspot’s enterprise contract management platform.
- Handle contract intake, record creation, and retention/archivals, with a focus on building efficiencies using digital workflows and innovative legal processes.
- Actively participate in various cross-functional crews to develop and iterate on commercial legal and business processes, templates, resources, playbooks, and spots.
- Learn, adapt, grow, and be yourself.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; or two years of relevant, professional experience in lieu of degree as a paralegal, contract manager/administrator/specialist or similar support role in a law firm or corporate law department.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- The ability to navigate digital contract management and e-signature tools, and maybe even Salesforce.
- A good, thoughtful human being and teammate.
- Solid communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize (and reprioritize) multiple tasks and workstreams.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills applied to legal, business and operational issues.
- Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts...even a little.
- Experience at a high-growth technology company.
- Experience implementing or using a CLM tool such as Conga or Ironclad
