Howstuffworks.com is one of our most successful owned and operated sites, where we’ve cultivated a robust quiz engagement business, but we know we can be doing more to better target audiences and drive long-term engagement. We’ve recently invested in the exploration of Snapchat, and discovered that our quizzes are incredibly popular among the platform’s audiences.
Now you come in....we’ve seen the potential for this platform to take our quiz business to the next level, and as we complement that development with new initiatives toward gamification and audience retention, you will ensure that our campaigns are running successfully on a network that you will own exclusively. The Role You Will Have
- Serve as the Native Team Lead for the Snapchat network, partnering with a dedicated ad copywriter and data analyst to ensure we’re meeting the content needs of all of our audiences
- Research, launch, and maintain existing campaigns within a large book of business while exploring new avenues for audience retention that we’ve yet to discover
- Ensure our teams are making data-driven decisions, and speak up when you see ways that we can further optimize traffic or change our strategy to be more successful
- Act as subject matter expert on all things Snapchat, advising leadership on the health of the current ecosystem and how we can best operate within that environment
- Obsess over QA and be a leader in resolving ad assets as needed
What You Will Bring
- 3-5 years experience managing large portfolios of campaigns across native or social networks and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to ensure success
- Thorough understanding of the economics of media buying ecosystems and familiarity with the range of networks and platforms currently being used in the industry
- A thoughtful balance between evidence-based analysis and the creativity to continue to think past what has always been done
- A love of Excel and data visualization technologies that rivals our data science team
- Adaptability to change and an open mindset that’s always up for a new challenge
- A BA in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Business, or other relevant field is highly recommended
- A combination of education and industry experience sufficient to enter into a mid-level to senior role within the team is necessary to long-term success
